West Indies won by nine wickets
West Indies secured a commanding nine-wicket victory over Nepal to advance to the T20 World Cup Super 8s, eliminating Nepal who remain without a win in the tournament.
After opening the tournament with strong wins against Scotland and England, the two-time champions aimed to continue their winning streak at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
Chasing a target of 134, West Indies reached 44-1 after the powerplay, with opener Brandon King being the only wicket to fall during the innings.
Captain Shai Hope scored a half-century off 38 balls, finishing unbeaten on 61, while Shimron Hetmyer contributed 46 not out from 32 deliveries. The pair guided West Indies to victory with 28 balls remaining.
Earlier, Nepal, seeking their first tournament win, struggled to establish momentum after losing the toss and being sent to bat.
They were restricted to 22-3 in the powerplay due to disciplined bowling and sharp fielding. Despite Dipendra Singh Airee's 58 and late hitting from Sompal Kami, who remained 26 not out, Nepal could not accelerate sufficiently.
Jason Holder was the standout bowler for West Indies, taking 4 wickets for 27 runs.
West Indies will face Italy in their final group-stage match.
