Beau Greaves achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first woman to win a Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) ranking title. She secured an 8-7 victory over Michael Smith in the final of Players Championship 11 held in Milton Keynes.
The 22-year-old clinched the title with a decisive 142 checkout in the final leg, finishing on double 11 against the former world champion. Her performance included a notable 170 checkout during the match.
Path to Victory
Greaves demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the tournament, overcoming top competitors such as Rob Cross with a 6-5 win and Gary Anderson with a commanding 7-1 victory en route to the final.
This triumph marks a significant progression in Greaves' rising career. She previously achieved a remarkable 114-match winning streak in the PDC Women's Series and became the first woman to record a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour.

In other results from the event, world number two Luke Humphries was eliminated in the third round after a narrow 6-5 defeat to Max Hopp. Additionally, Premier League Darts players Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock were both knocked out in the first round.
