Woman guilty of manslaughter and kidnap in acid attack case

A woman who assisted in planning a fatal acid attack on her ex-husband has been found guilty of manslaughter and kidnap charges.

Paris Wilson, 35, from Plymouth, was acquitted of murder.

Danny Cahalane, 38, sustained catastrophic injuries during the assault at his Plymouth residence in February 2025 and passed away in hospital several weeks later.

A jury at Winchester Crown Court delivered guilty verdicts for manslaughter against Wilson and co-defendant Ramarnee Bakas. Additionally, the jury found Abdulrasheed Adedoja and Israel Augustus, both from London, guilty of murder.
