CCTV Footage Description

The footage, captured by Edwards’ home security system on the morning of 16 June, shows a woman carrying a shopping bag walking along the pavement outside his home. She then turns up the driveway and kicks the front of the parked yellow sports car multiple times.

Edwards noticed the incident approximately 10 minutes after it occurred at 08:45 BST.

"It's very strange, such a weird thing to do."

Owner’s Reaction

Edwards, who owns a painting and decorating business, expressed disbelief at the behaviour.

"I didn't think there were people like that in the world today."

He reiterated that the woman’s kicks caused scratches estimated to cost "between two or three-hundred-pounds to put right."

Due to the incident, Edwards has had to keep the car out of public view by leaving it at a friend’s house while he goes on holiday.
