Cannabis Seizure in Perth Leads to Charges

Two men have been charged following the seizure of cannabis valued at approximately £360,000 by police in Perth.

Officers conducted a search at an address on Crieff Road after receiving a tip-off, where they discovered a large number of cannabis plants.

The men, aged 28 and 23, were arrested and charged with drug offences. They are scheduled to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.

Detective Inspector Gary Lamb commented on the operation:

"Drugs cause misery in our communities and significant recoveries such as this highlights the work being carried out to tackle serious and organised crime."
