ITV Shelves Planned TV Series
ITV has decided to remove a planned television series about the men’s involvement in football club ownership. The six-part series, titled Up the Jammers, was described in a press release dated 31 March, which remains accessible online. The series was to follow Barrie and Scott’s efforts to elevate the Isthmian League North Division team to the English Football League within four years.
“We didn’t get into football to play it safe, we got into it to build something big, and ITV is the perfect platform to bring that story to life. Nothing has been hidden.”
This quote from Barrie Drewitt-Barlow was included in the ITV press release.
On Friday, an ITV spokesperson stated:
“ITV has decided to remove Up the Jammers from the upcoming schedule.”
