Former Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly and BBC Radio 2 host Vernon Kay have jointly announced their decision to separate after 22 years of marriage.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the couple expressed their mutual respect and care for one another as they navigate this change.
"After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably,"
The pair, who married in September 2003, acknowledged that the decision was difficult but emphasized it was reached through mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both.

They also reassured that their friendship remains strong and that their commitment to parenting remains a priority.
"We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority."
The couple clarified that no third parties are involved and requested privacy during this transition period.
"There are no other parties involved and we ask for privacy as we navigate this transition together."
They concluded by stating they will not provide further public comments on the matter.
