Serious Crash Closes A40 Near Llandeilo
A "serious" collision involving a coach and a van has resulted in the closure of a busy road in south Wales.
The incident occurred on the A40 near Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire at approximately 16:30 BST on Friday. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that officers are present on the Llandeilo to Nantgaredig road and have advised motorists to
"avoid the area and find alternative routes".
The A40 remains closed in both directions from Carmarthen Road in Llandeilo to Pentrefelin.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service stated that they are still at the location and that the situation is now
"under control".
The bus company involved, Ffoshelig Coaches, has declined to provide any comments regarding the incident.
