Rhun ap Iorwerth Announces New Welsh Government Ministers
First Minister Rhun ap Iorwerth has announced his ministerial team for Wales' inaugural Plaid Cymru government.
Sioned Williams will serve as deputy first minister, while former Senedd presiding officer Elin Jones takes on the role of finance cabinet minister.
Speaking on the steps of the government's headquarters in Cardiff, ap Iorwerth emphasized that this represents not only a change in administration but also a new approach, describing it as a government "for all of the people of Wales."
"It is a government for all of the people of Wales."
Ap Iorwerth was confirmed as first minister on Tuesday following Plaid Cymru's historic election victory, which ended Labour's 27-year governance in Wales by becoming the largest party in the Senedd.
The new health minister is Mabon ap Gwynfor, while Anna Brychan has been appointed education and Welsh language minister. Heledd Fychan assumes the role of cabinet minister for culture and sport, as well as trefnydd.
Additionally, former Plaid Cymru leader Adam Price has been named cabinet minister for enterprise, connectivity, and energy.
