New Welsh Government Cabinet Announced by Rhun ap Iorwerth
The newly appointed First Minister of Wales, Rhun ap Iorwerth, has named the ministers for his government.
Sioned Williams has been appointed as Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Equality.
Elin Jones, who previously served as Minister for Rural Affairs in the Labour and Plaid Cymru coalition during the first decade of the century, has been appointed Cabinet Minister for Finance.

Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy – Adam Price.
Cabinet Minister for Education and the Welsh Language – Anna Brychan.
Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability – Llŷr Gruffydd.
Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning – Siân Gwenllian.
Deputy Minister for Public Health and Prevention – Nerys Evans.
Deputy Minister for Social Care, Mental Health and Women's Health – Delyth Jewell.

The prospective Counsel General is former MP Elfyn Llwyd.

Rhun ap Iorwerth was officially elected as First Minister on Tuesday, marking the first time Plaid Cymru has led the Welsh government.
The new ministerial team was unveiled at the Welsh Government headquarters in central Cardiff on Wednesday.
