Police Identify Biker in Fatal Glasgow Crash

Police have confirmed the identity of a biker who died in a road accident in the north of Glasgow.

Steven Carlton, aged 47, was riding a black Honda CMX 500 motorcycle when the crash occurred on Springburn Road at approximately 04:35 on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services responded promptly, but Carlton, a resident of Springburn, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. They have appealed to the public for any information or dash cam footage that could assist the inquiry.

Sgt Chris McColm said: "Given the time of the crash, we know the road wasn't particularly busy, but I'm appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or saw the motorcycle beforehand, to come forward."
