First Locations for Grooming Gang Inquiry Announced

The initial sites to be examined in a national independent inquiry into grooming gangs have been identified as Oldham, Bradford and Keighley, and London, according to the Statutory Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs.

The inquiry will be chaired by Baroness Anne Longfield CBE and will require individuals and institutions to clarify what actions they "did or did not do to protect children from being sexually abused," the organisation stated.

Additionally, the review will assess whether changes have been implemented in areas where previous investigations have taken place, including Oxford and Rotherham.
