Boy Donates Hair to Children's Charity
A nine-year-old boy from Stowmarket, Suffolk, who had not cut his hair since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, has donated his long hair to a charity that creates wigs for children.
Noah, who was only three years old when the lockdown began and haircuts were unavailable, allowed his hair to grow continuously during this period.
With his blond hair reaching down to his hips, Noah courageously had it cut on Saturday to support The Little Princess Trust.

"My hair is going to be used for someone who is going through cancer and doesn't have hair at the moment, and it will be made into a wig for them," Noah explained.
Initially, Noah described his new hairstyle as feeling "weird," but he expressed enthusiasm about the benefits of having shorter hair, such as faster washing and drying times and not needing to tie it back during sports activities.
He was also excited to surprise his friends and teachers with his new short haircut when he returned to school after the Easter break.
