Extradition and Charge
A man has been extradited to the United Kingdom from the United Arab Emirates and charged with the murder of Kamonnan Thiamphanit, aged 27, who was fatally stabbed in Westminster in 2024, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Enzo Bettamio, 18, was flown from Dubai to the UK on Friday and has been formally charged with the murder of Kamonnan, who was also known by the name Angela.
Court Appearance and Family Support
Bettamio is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Police issued a statement regarding the victim's family support:
"Angela's family are aware of the update and continue to be supported by specialist officers," the Met said.
