Man charged in ex-partner murder case found dead in jail

A man charged with murdering his former partner has died in prison. Lee Greenan, 46, was accused of killing Vikki Soloman at a house on Craigievar Square in Edinburgh on Monday evening.

The 44-year-old was found with serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Vikki Soloman was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident in Edinburgh.

Police Scotland said Greenan had been found dead at HMP Edinburgh on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson said:

"Around 08:55 on Sunday, we were made aware of the death of a 46-year-old man at HMP Edinburgh.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."

The Scottish Prison Service has been approached for comment.
