A 40-year-old man was arrested by police on Wednesday in Millisle as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance and murder of 25-year-old Lisa Dorrian.

The arrest occurred shortly after the 21st anniversary of Lisa's disappearance. Lisa Dorrian has not been seen since attending a house party at a caravan park in the County Down village of Ballyhalbert at the end of February 2005.

Detective Chief Inspector Kerrie Foreman commented on the case, emphasizing the enduring impact on Lisa’s family and the police commitment to the investigation.
