A man has been arrested in connection with a serious four-vehicle collision in Aberdeen that resulted in three individuals being hospitalized.

The crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 13:30 on Garthdee Road, near the junction with Inchbrae Road.

Police Scotland confirmed that the three people taken to hospital were aged 15, 17, and 20.

The Scottish Ambulance Service deployed three special operations response teams, two ambulances, and a critical care team to the scene to provide medical assistance.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) responded with two appliances and a heavy rescue unit to support the emergency efforts.
