A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his partner at a house in Edinburgh. Lee Greenan is accused of killing Vikki Soloman during a disturbance at the house in Craigievar Square, in the city's East Craigs area, on Monday evening.
Emergency crews found Soloman, 44, with serious injuries. She was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Greenan, 46, made no plea to a charge of murder and two charges of assault. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear again within eight days.
