A council spokesperson advised:

"In the meantime, we ask all motorists and residents to respect the road closure and follow the diversions that have been put in place,"

Emergency Alert and Property Securing

Suzanne recounted that a lorry driver was the first to notice a downed electrical cable and alerted neighbors, who then contacted emergency services.

"They secured the property as best they could to keep things safe and that's been it really since Friday,"

She also mentioned the family's efforts to adapt to the situation:

"We're just trying to make sense of a new normal for us as a family and where we go from here, because obviously it's going to be a really long time to put this right."

Council Actions and Inspections

Herefordshire Highways teams responded to the scene shortly after the landslip occurred, according to the council.

The authority has maintained contact with the property owner and is taking measures to address the situation. Building control officers have inspected the affected properties as part of the ongoing response.
