Former Metropolitan Police Special Constable Sentenced

A former Metropolitan Police special constable has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting a child.

James Bubb, who currently identifies as a woman named Gwyn Samuels, groomed a child online before sexually assaulting her at the age of 12.

The 28-year-old from Chesham, Buckinghamshire, was also convicted of raping a young woman he met online while impersonating a 16-year-old girl.

At the time of the offences, he identified as male and was referred to by his biological sex throughout the trial held at Amersham Law Courts.
