Dan Walker to Appear at Employment Tribunal
TV presenter Dan Walker is scheduled to appear at an employment tribunal following allegations of bullying made by his former Channel 5 News co-host, Claudia-Liza Vanderpuije.
ITN, the production company behind Channel 5 News, along with Channel 5's parent company Paramount, have also been named as respondents in Vanderpuije's claim, according to her legal representative.
Allegations and Responses
The Mail on Sunday, which initially reported the case, stated that Walker, previously a host on BBC Breakfast, faces accusations that include sexism and misogyny.
An ITN spokesperson provided a statement to , saying:

Requests for comment have also been made to Walker and Paramount.
According to The Mail on Sunday, citing an insider source, Walker denies all allegations and has compiled over 50 character witness statements in his defense.
It is reported that a prior internal investigation into the claims against Walker concluded with no findings of misconduct.
Tribunal Details and Background
The tribunal is set to commence in London on 20 April and is scheduled to last for five weeks, as stated by Vanderpuije's lawyer, Jonathan Coad.
Walker, who has also appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, began co-hosting Channel 5 News alongside Vanderpuije in 2022. Vanderpuije departed from Channel 5 News in 2024.
Additionally, ITN CEO Rachel Corp is named as a respondent in the claim.
