Man Charged Over Londonderry Kidnapping Incident

Police investigating a reported kidnapping in Londonderry last year have formally charged a 31-year-old man. The incident took place on 1 October in Northland Terrace.

The individual faces multiple charges including kidnap, false imprisonment, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, burglary, and theft.

He is scheduled to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Friday. As per standard procedure, all charges will undergo review by the Public Prosecution Service.
