Paris Fashion Week Unveils Autumn/Winter Trends
As anticipation for spring grows following a dull start to the year, fashion remains ahead of the curve. Paris Fashion Week concluded on Tuesday, offering a preview of styles expected to reach the high street later this year through the autumn/winter collections from major labels. This event focused on women's ready-to-wear collections, succeeding January's haute couture week.
Leading fashion houses including Chanel, McQueen, Chloe, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Balmain, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Stella McCartney presented their latest designs.
The event attracted the usual A-list attendees, such as Margot Robbie, who debuted a new haircut, and Zendaya, who was noted for wearing rings on her wedding finger.
Here is an overview of the notable moments and trends from the week.
'Resurgent' Victoria Beckham Puts Family Feud Aside
Designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham expressed gratitude for her family's support following her show at Paris Fashion Week over the weekend.
After a widely publicized dispute with her eldest son Brooklyn, she shared a photograph featuring herself with her husband Sir David Beckham, sons Romeo and Cruz, daughter Harper, and Cruz's girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
"Thank you for always being there to support me. I love you all so much."
's fashion editor, Jess Cartner-Morley, described Beckham's collection as "resurgent," highlighting coral and jade party dresses inspired by the palette of Art Deco portrait painter Tamara de Lempicka, alongside classic trouser suits and ribbed knits.

Pop Queens Embrace Vivienne Westwood's Legacy
Grammy-winning singers Chappell Roan and Lola Young attended Vivienne Westwood's show, drawing inspiration from the late designer's deconstructed boudoir aesthetic.
Since 2016, Andreas Kronthaler, Westwood's widower and long-term design partner, has served as the British label's creative director.
The collection featured UK heritage elements, including oversized checked overcoats in muted autumnal tones, punk tailoring, and distinctive headwear.

Zendaya Appears Amid Marriage Rumors
Zendaya was seen at Louis Vuitton's show on Tuesday wearing sparkling jewelry and a simple gold ring resembling a wedding band.
Rumors have circulated for weeks about her possible marriage to fellow actor Tom Holland, though neither has confirmed the reports.
The Louis Vuitton show, held on the final day at the Louvre, featured flamboyant headwear and oversized structured shoulders.
Other notable attendees included Chase Infiniti from One Battle After Another, Blackpink's Lisa, and actress Ana de Armas.

Christian Dior Brings Sunshine to the Tuileries Garden
Jonathan Anderson, from Northern Ireland and Dior's creative director since last year, showcased his collection outdoors in the Tuileries Garden, benefiting from favorable weather. Models walked across a bridge spanning a pond filled with water lilies.
"It's a promenade, the idea of people dressing up to walk in the park," Anderson told Vogue.
The collection was whimsical and charming, featuring ruffled tutus, sculptured soft knits, peplum jackets, skirts with bustles, and abundant shearling fabric.

Matthieu Blazy's Third Chanel Collection Impresses
Since taking the helm at Chanel last year, Matthieu Blazy has drawn inspiration from Coco Chanel herself. His latest collection combines individual flair with the brand's recognizable style.
Highlights included boxy tweed boucle jackets with fringed trims and structured, brightly colored handbags. The collection also incorporated various materials such as lace.

Dries van Noten Revisits School Days
Julian Klausner for Dries van Noten paid tribute to the 1990s and early 2000s with maxi denim skirts featuring high splits.
The collection also included classic duffle coats, prep school-style blazers, and intricately patterned dresses with delicate cut-out designs.
True to the Belgian label's tradition, many models wore boots with their outfits. Some garments showcased gold fabric and tapestry details.
WWD's Samantha Conti noted Klausner drew inspiration from "the multicultural 'treasure box' of Antwerp in its 16th Century heyday, Flemish still life paintings of fruits and birds - and high school in the 21st Century."

Stella McCartney's Show Features Dancing Horses
Stella McCartney's presentation offered inspiration for fashion enthusiasts, including colorful knitwear and crocheted tank tops. However, the highlight was the presence of twelve dancing horses.
The designer, a strong advocate of equine therapy, incorporated the horses to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Horse.
McCartney wore a "My Dad's a Rock Star" T-shirt, acknowledging her father Paul McCartney, who was seated in the front row.

Saint Laurent Maintains Classic Elegance
Anthony Vaccarello's collection featured various interpretations of the classic tuxedo suit, silicone-coated lingerie dresses, and faux fur coats.
Jewelry played a significant role, with large pendant necklaces and chunky gold pieces prominently displayed.
The collection is officially presented under the ready-to-wear line name Saint Laurent, while the full fashion house name remains Yves Saint Laurent.

Rick Owens' Avant-Garde Designs Go Underground
Known as the "lord of darkness," Rick Owens presented avant-garde, exaggerated designs that may appear unconventional for ready-to-wear but are expected to influence more pared-down styles by Christmas.
The collection included innovative materials, such as an Italian fabric typically reserved for body armor, and sequined boots.
