Gordon Stewart from Clackmannan saw the Kelpies lit up blue at night.

"Pippa enjoyed her walk on Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris," said Graham Charles. "It was as though she had the whole beach to herself."

Graham Christie took this image of a seal balancing on a rock in the North Sea at the Isle of May.

Hugh Kerr walked past the decorated Rockhopper Building at Dunbar Harbour.

Jim Mclean captured the towns on Gardenstown and Clovie in Aberdeenshire from the nearby cliffs.

Jimmy Mason said the puffins did not disappoint during a boat trip from Anstruther.

John Welsh watched the sun going down over West Bay in East Lothian.

Malcolm Winter saw a seagull feeding its chicks in Broughty Ferry near Dundee.

Maria Beeton said her partner Pete took this photo of an otter while on their annual trip to the Isle of Mull.

"The ox-eye daisies were swaying in the summer evening breeze, near Castle Douglas," said Nicola Forsyth.

Rachel Hall from Bristol captured this view of Tarbert, in Argyll and Bute, while on holiday.

"These guys were posing beautifully for their photo with the island of Scarp in the background," said Steph Lamb from Innerleithen in the Borders.

Tanja Vayrynen said she was lucky with the weather while visiting the Isle of Iona.
