Scotland Faces Third Defeat at Women's World Curling Championship
Team Henderson is representing Scotland for the first time on the world stage.
Scotland suffered their third loss at the Women's World Curling Championship as Switzerland secured a 9-5 victory.
Fay Henderson's rink began the tournament with an extra-end defeat by China, then recovered with a decisive 8-3 win against the United States before losing 5-3 to Turkey.
During the match against Switzerland, Scotland held a 5-4 lead after the fourth end, but Xenia Schwaller's rink mounted a strong finish to claim the win.
The Scottish team, consisting of Henderson, Lisa Davie, Hailey Duff, and Katie McMillan, will next compete against Denmark and then Sweden.
Currently, hosts Canada, along with Japan and Turkey, lead the standings with three wins from three matches. Switzerland holds a record of three wins and one loss so far.
