Wakefield Trinity advanced into the top three of the Super League standings by defeating York Knights, marking their third consecutive win.
On the same day that Trinity announced the signing of National Rugby League star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck on a two-year contract starting next season, the team also delivered a strong performance on the field, securing a comfortable victory.
Two tries each from Tom Johnstone and Oli Pratt, along with a try from Caleb Hamlin-Uele, contributed to Wakefield's fourth win of the season under coach Daryl Powell.
York Knights responded with tries from Sam Wood, Ben Jones-Bishop, and Nikau Williams; however, their defense faltered in the closing stages, resulting in their third consecutive loss.
