North Wales Crusaders Endure Record Defeat

North Wales Crusaders experienced the largest defeat recorded by any team in the top two divisions throughout the 131-year history of rugby league. The team was defeated 134-0 at home by London Broncos, conceding 25 tries at Stadiwm CSM in Colwyn Bay.

This marks the third occasion this season that the Crusaders have conceded over 100 points in the Championship, including a previous 106-18 loss to the Broncos in London.

Sunday's loss was just 10 points shy of the all-time heaviest rugby league defeat, when York Knights defeated North Wales Raiders 144-0 in League One in 2018.

Match Highlights and Standings

Broncos' Emarly Bitungane scored the opening try within the first minute, while centre Brandon Webster-Mansfield led the try count with five tries during the match.

The London Broncos currently lead the Championship table with 14 wins from 14 matches.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders have lost 11 of their 14 games and sit at the bottom of the table with -6 points. This negative point total is due to a 12-point deduction imposed following insolvency and a change of ownership at the start of the season.
