Leeds Rhinos Triumph Over Widnes Vikings
George Brown made an impressive debut for Leeds Rhinos by scoring two tries, leading the team to a 25-12 victory against Widnes Vikings at the DCBL Stadium.
The 18-year-old full-back was selected for his first match after a strong pre-season performance. He opened the scoring within seven minutes, with Kallum Watkins successfully converting the try. However, Widnes responded with tries from winger Mike Butt and Jordan Abdull, leveling the score.
Leeds appeared to gain control of the match as Watkins added a penalty goal, and another debutant, former Canberra Raiders hooker Danny Levi, contributed a try. Brown's second try put Leeds ahead 18-6 at halftime.
Widnes fought back in the second half with Joe Lyons assisting Butt for his second try. Nevertheless, Riley Lumb's outstanding solo try, Watkins' conversion, and a drop-goal from Brodie Croft ensured Leeds maintained their lead and secured their place in the next round.

Castleford Tigers Advance with a 14-0 Win Over Doncaster
Castleford Tigers progressed to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup by defeating Championship side Doncaster 14-0.
The Super League team faced a challenging first quarter but eventually broke through with a try from Joe Stimson, which Tom Weaver converted, giving them the lead at halftime.
Doncaster endured the sin-binning of Titus Gwaze for interference at the play-the-ball but managed to hold off the Tigers temporarily. Blake Taaffe, Castleford's full-back, then scored another try. Weaver added the conversion and a penalty goal, allowing Castleford to comfortably finish the match without significant pressure.
