Wrexham Injury Update Before Hull Match

Wrexham have encountered a double injury setback as striker Kieffer Moore has suffered a "small" tendon split, while Liberato Cacace has experienced a setback in his hamstring injury recovery.

Moore, who came off the bench during Wrexham's 4-2 FA Cup fifth round defeat to Chelsea on Friday, was later withdrawn late in the game. He has since been excluded from the squad for the upcoming Championship fixture against Hull City on Tuesday night.

The 33-year-old Moore is currently the club's leading scorer this season, having netted 13 goals across all competitions.

This injury could raise concerns for Craig Bellamy as Wales prepare for their World Cup play-off semi-final against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Cardiff City Stadium on 26 March. Should Wales win that match, they will host the final against either Italy or Northern Ireland five days later.

Meanwhile, left wing-back Liberato Cacace has struggled with injuries since his transfer to Wrexham from Italian club Empoli last summer. The New Zealand international has been limited to just 11 Championship appearances this season.
