Rice Trains Ahead of Sporting Quarter-Final
There is encouraging news for Arsenal as Declan Rice has returned to training ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg in Lisbon tomorrow night.

Italy's World Cup Qualifying Playoff Venue Change
Italy opted not to play their World Cup qualifying playoff at San Siro, choosing to host the match in Bergamo instead. Gennaro Gattuso explained the decision as a measure to protect his players, noting that San Siro is home to two rival clubs—Milan and Internazionale—and suggesting that this rivalry might cause fans to turn quickly against players who underperform.
On Sunday, San Siro provided solace to a player who has become a scapegoat for another collective failure. Italy progressed past Northern Ireland but were eliminated in Zenica. Alessandro Bastoni’s first-half red card, while Italy were leading 1-0, was a pivotal moment in the match and potentially in his career.

La Liga Condemns Threats Against Sevilla Players
La Liga has condemned threats and intimidation by Sevilla fans directed at their own players and directors following a third consecutive league defeat.
Sevilla, currently 17th in the Spanish top flight, lost 1-0 away to bottom side Real Oviedo on Sunday. Upon returning to the airport, some supporters insulted the team, while others wearing masks were present at the club training ground.
La Liga said in a statement this behaviour “unacceptably crosses the line of legitimate criticism and sporting expression”.
Earlier this season, some Sevilla fans attempted to force their way into the training ground to confront players.
La Liga said they would report the incident to Spanish authorities and continue to take action in the future against similar incidents.
“Anyone who crosses the line from criticism into threats, intimidation, or harassment stops acting as a fan and starts acting as a violent individual,” added La Liga. “And against violent individuals, La Liga acts and will act.”
Sevilla remain winless in five matches and are two points above the relegation zone with eight games remaining.
