New Call-Ups for Wales Under-21 Squad
Oliver Bostock has made his breakthrough into West Bromwich Albion's first team this season, appearing seven times so far.
Oliver Bostock, Elliot Myles, and Aled Thomas have been selected for Wales' Under-21 squad ahead of the 2027 European Championship qualifiers against Belarus and Denmark.
The trio, all aged 19, are included in the under-21 squad for the first time. They have previously represented Wales at younger age-group levels. Bostock plays as an attacking midfielder for West Brom, Myles is a midfielder at Norwich City, and Thomas is a defender with Everton.

Alongside these newcomers, senior internationals Charlie Crew and Kai Andrews are named in the squad. The team also features more experienced under-21 players such as Cardiff City's Cian Ashford and Joel Cotterill, who is currently on loan at Dundee from Swansea City.
Upcoming Fixtures
Wales Under-21s will face Belarus at Rodney Parade on Friday, 27 March, with kickoff at 17:30 GMT. This will be followed by an away match against Denmark on Tuesday, 31 March, starting at 17:00 BST.
Team Performance and Context
Matty Jones' squad currently sits at the bottom of Group I after heavy defeats to Denmark, Belgium, and Belarus. However, they secured a notable away win against Austria in October, who presently lead the group on goal difference.
Returning players to the squad include George Nevett, Alex Williams, Evan Watts, and Rhys Thomas. Additionally, uncapped goalkeepers Kit Margetson and Luke Armstrong have been called up, along with Gabriele Biancheri, a forward on loan at Rotherham from Manchester United.
Player Backgrounds
Wrexham-born Aled Thomas signed his first professional contract with Everton last summer.
