Sam Kerr to Leave Chelsea at Season's End

Striker Sam Kerr, Chelsea's all-time leading scorer in the Women's Super League, will depart the club upon the expiration of her contract this summer.

At 32 years old, Kerr has netted 115 goals in 177 appearances for Chelsea. Her final match is scheduled to be a home game against Manchester United on Saturday.

The Australian forward has been instrumental in Chelsea's success, contributing to five Women's Super League titles, three FA Cups, three League Cups, and the Community Shield.

"When I reflect on my Chelsea career and doing it for the last time [against Manchester United this Saturday], I just feel happy,' said Kerr. "Happy that it happened, and I feel so grateful to have played for this club for six years and won as many trophies as we could."
