Robbie Williams Named Port Vale Shirt Sponsor and Charity Ambassador
Robbie Williams has been officially announced as a charity ambassador and shirt sponsor for Port Vale Football Club.
The agreement spans two years and will involve Williams leveraging his public profile to promote the club's charitable initiatives. Additionally, his RW logo will be prominently displayed on the front of the players' home and away shirts.
"It feels pretty incredible, to be honest," Williams said. "Robbie Williams, on the front of a Port Vale shirt - it's a match made in heaven for me."

Williams’ Connection to Port Vale
The pop icon grew up just a short distance from the club’s home ground at Vale Park and has been a lifelong supporter of the team.
"I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me," Williams explained.
In 2022, Williams held a special homecoming concert at Vale Park in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, further cementing his ties to the club and local community.
Earlier in January 2024, he was appointed club president, humorously referring to himself as "El Presidente."
Role with Port Vale Foundation
Williams has now become an ambassador for the Port Vale Foundation, an organisation that delivers projects aimed at supporting health, education, inclusion, and opportunities for individuals of all ages throughout Stoke-on-Trent.
Williams attributed his renewed involvement with the club to the efforts of chair and co-owner Carol Shanahan and her team, praising the strong backroom operation they have built.
"Being embraced again by the Port Vale family has been very important to me and it feels wonderful," he said.
Club Leadership Comments
Matt Hancock, Port Vale’s chief executive officer, expressed that the partnership holds significant value for the club.
"He is not only a global superstar, but also a genuine supporter of the club with a deep and personal connection to our town," Hancock stated.
"It's that authenticity which makes this so powerful. From the very first conversations, it was clear this was about Robbie's life-long love for Port Vale and making a tangible difference to people's lives.
"The support and exposure the partnership will give to the club and foundation will help us reach more people, create more opportunities and continue using the club as a force for good."
