Igor Tudor Celebrates Tottenham's Draw at Liverpool
Igor Tudor marked his first Premier League point in charge of Tottenham Hotspur after the team secured a 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
Four clubs remain embroiled in a fierce battle to avoid relegation, each determined not to be the one to drop into the Championship. While Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley are trailing and are almost certain to face relegation, the contest among the other four teams is tightly contested and unpredictable.
This weekend’s fixtures resulted in draws for all four teams involved in the survival fight, leaving the standings largely unchanged. However, the impact of these results varies significantly among the clubs.
Currently, West Ham United occupy the 18th position, the highest relegation spot, but they are level on points with Nottingham Forest at 29 points each after 30 matches, separated only by goal difference. Tottenham Hotspur remain just above the relegation zone with 30 points, having scored a late equalizer in a dramatic 1-1 draw at Liverpool. Leeds United sit in 15th place with 32 points but remain vulnerable to the relegation threat.

In-form Hammers Earn Point Against Manchester City
West Ham United were the only team among the four to play on Saturday, securing a 1-1 draw against title contenders Manchester City. The Hammers came from behind to earn this valuable point, briefly moving out of the bottom three for approximately 18 hours before results on Sunday returned them to the relegation zone.
Earlier in the season, on 6 January, West Ham suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, leaving them seven points adrift of safety with 17 matches remaining. At that time, they were 13 points behind Tottenham and had played one more game.
Since then, under the management of Nuno Espirito Santo, West Ham have accumulated 15 points from nine games, making them the best-performing team among the four in recent form.
Their remaining fixtures include a home match against league leaders Arsenal and a season-ending game hosting Leeds United.

'Rub of the Green' Missing for Forest in Attack
Nottingham Forest failed to score in their recent Premier League match against Fulham, marking the 14th time in 30 league games this season that they have been unable to find the net. Despite this, Forest created the better chances during the goalless draw and were denied a potential penalty in the second half. Substitute Dan Ndoye narrowly missed scoring twice due to offside calls.
Forest full-back Ola Aina, who hit the crossbar during the match, expressed optimism despite the team's struggles in front of goal.
"Like in many other games, we're creating good chances but it's just not working right now. Hopefully in the games to come, those chances go in. We've got quality and the spirit to [change the team's luck in front of goal]. Honestly, I just think it's the rub of the green that's not going for us. We've just got to keep believing in what we're doing and ultimately in each other, because we're the ones that are going to turn it round."
Forest face a challenging Europa League last-16 second leg against Danish side Midtjylland on Thursday, trailing 1-0 from the first leg. Additionally, a crucial Premier League fixture against Tottenham on 22 March looms large.
Forest manager Vitor Pereira emphasized the importance of the upcoming match against Spurs.
"We are in a position that we need to go there to compete for three points. It's very, very important."

Battling Display 'Something Big' for Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur’s search for their first Premier League win in 2026 continues, but the team will draw significant confidence from securing a vital point against Liverpool. Manager Igor Tudor faced intense scrutiny following a Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, where his decision to start goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, who was substituted after 17 minutes due to errors leading to two goals, was questioned.
Five days later, a depleted Spurs squad showed resilience against the reigning league champions. Richarlison scored a 90th-minute equalizer, capitalizing on Liverpool’s inefficiency in front of goal.
Tudor reflected on the result and the team’s effort.
"I'm happy because it's never easy to come here and play at this stadium. We stayed in the game until the last minute, we believed, we tried and in the end the goal came. It's a very good point for us. We came here with 12 players and this moment - for me, for our club, for the team - this is really something big."

Leeds 'Adapt' to Claim 'Valuable' Point
Leeds United extended their winless Premier League streak to five games with a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Sunday. Despite the lack of victory, Leeds maintained a small points gap over the teams below them in the table.
Leeds had opportunities to win, including a missed penalty by Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the first half. The team played the entire second half with 10 men after Gabriel Gudmundsson received a red card, making the point earned even more significant.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke commented on the team's performance and mentality.
"We are not perfect and not flawless, otherwise we would have been in the lead at half-time, but this mentality, unity and spirit in the dressing room is second to none. We came here to win this game and if we had converted our situations in the first half, or would have been allowed to play with 11 men, I'm pretty sure we would have won this game. Sometimes you have to adapt to strange circumstances and that's what we did that today. It was a really good clean sheet and we take a valuable point away."
