Perry Ng Commits Future to Cardiff City

Defender Perry Ng has agreed to a new contract with Cardiff City, securing his stay at the club until 2028. The 29-year-old right-back joined the Bluebirds from Crewe Alexandra in January 2021 and has since made 233 appearances, scoring 15 goals.

Ng has been a key figure for Cardiff, earning the player of the season award twice. During the 2025-26 campaign, he made 40 appearances and contributed six goals as the team achieved promotion from League One.

"I'm delighted to have signed this new deal. I've loved my time at the club so far," Ng said in a statement on Cardiff's official website.
"I've grown a lot in my five-and-a-half years in south Wales. I feel like I've made a home for myself here.
I'd like to take this moment to thank the City fans for their support. I'm excited now for myself and this group to take on the challenge the Championship brings."

Contract Situations of Other Key Players

Ng is among three first-team players with contracts expiring this summer. The others are left-back Joel Bagan and midfielder Ryan Wintle, both of whom played significant roles in Cardiff's recent promotion.
