Cymru Premier: Nomads Close to Clinching Second Place
Harry Franklin scored within the first minute as Connah's Quay Nomads secured a 4-2 victory over Caernarfon Town at Caernarfon.
Franklin broke clear early, netting after just 20 seconds to give the Nomads an immediate lead. Phil Mooney responded with a header to level the score for Caernarfon, but Rhys Hughes restored the Nomads' advantage with a penalty before halftime.
In the second half, Noah Edwards and Callum West scored quick successive goals, extending Connah's Quay's lead. Rio Owen scored a stoppage-time consolation goal for Caernarfon, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
With this win, Connah's Quay are poised to secure second place in the Cymru Premier and qualification for the European Conference next season, contingent on third-placed Penybont losing to champions The New Saints on Saturday.
Haverfordwest County 1-0 Cardiff Met
Owain Jones scored the decisive goal ten minutes from time, leading Haverfordwest County to a 1-0 victory over Cardiff Met. This win solidifies Haverfordwest's position at the top of the Play-off Conference, while Cardiff Met remains fourth in the second tier.
Llanelli 0-2 Briton Ferry Llansawel
Ricky Lee-Owen gave Briton Ferry Llansawel an early lead at Stebonheath, and Ollie Anderson added a late second goal. The victory keeps Briton Ferry within four points of Haverfordwest in the standings.
