Larne increased their lead at the summit of the Premiership to five points following a 3-0 triumph against Glenavon on Friday evening.

The scoring was confined to the second half, beginning with Paul O'Neill heading in the opening goal. This was followed by Leroy Millar's close-range finish to double the advantage.

Linfield's slim chances of claiming the title suffered a setback as they were defeated 2-0 by Carrick Rangers at Taylors Avenue.
