Larne Secure 3-0 Victory Over Glenavon
Larne increased their lead at the summit of the Premiership to five points following a 3-0 triumph against Glenavon on Friday evening.
The scoring was confined to the second half, beginning with Paul O'Neill heading in the opening goal. This was followed by Leroy Millar's close-range finish to double the advantage.
Andy Ryan then sealed the win with a tap-in during the final seconds at Mourneview Park.
Linfield's Title Hopes Dented by Carrick Rangers Defeat
Linfield's slim chances of claiming the title suffered a setback as they were defeated 2-0 by Carrick Rangers at Taylors Avenue.
Linfield defender Darragh Leahy received a red card for a last-man foul in the 36th minute. Shortly before halftime, Matthew Olosunde opened the scoring for Carrick Rangers.
Luke McCullough extended the lead with a goal in the 72nd minute, confirming the victory. This loss leaves Linfield 12 points behind Larne with only five matches remaining in the season.
