Barry Called Up to England Squad
Bay FC forward Keira Barry has received her first call-up to the England national team for the upcoming Women's World Cup qualifiers against Spain and Iceland. Barry, aged 20, recently transferred to the United States from Manchester United, where she spent four years between 2022 and 2026. She advances from the England Under-23 squad to the senior team.

Squad Changes Due to Injuries
Barry replaces London City Lionesses' forward Freya Godfrey, who has withdrawn from the squad due to a shoulder injury and will remain with her club for treatment. Additionally, Chelsea defender Niamh Charles returns to the squad after recovering from a dislocated shoulder. Charles, 26, has participated in Chelsea's last three matches and was part of the England team that retained their European title in Switzerland last year.
Upcoming Fixtures and Squad Details
The expanded 24-player squad will convene at St George's Park on Tuesday in preparation for their match against Spain on 14 April at Wembley Stadium, scheduled for 19:00 GMT. England will then face Iceland in Reykjavik on Saturday, 18 April at 17:30 GMT, aiming to continue their successful start to the 2027 World Cup qualifying campaign.
