How to Watch the 2026 World Cup on BBC and ITV: Full Schedule and Coverage

Scotland and England's 2026 World Cup matches will be broadcast on BBC and ITV, with full group and knockout stage coverage. The tournament is co-hosted by the US, Canada, and Mexico, starting 11 June and concluding 19 July.

Scotland's Group and Broadcast Details

Scotland is placed in Group C alongside Brazil, Haiti, and Morocco. The BBC will broadcast Scotland's first men's World Cup match since 1998, which is against Haiti on 14 June, as well as their final group match against Brazil.

England's Matches and Coverage

England's second group match against Ghana on 23 June will also be shown on the BBC, along with their knockout fixtures in the last 32, last 16, and semi-final stages, provided they advance to those rounds. England's other Group L matches against Croatia and Panama, as well as Scotland's match with Morocco, will be broadcast on ITV.

The BBC will feature three of the top four picks in the round of 16 and three of the top five picks in the round of 32. Both BBC and ITV will broadcast the final match of the tournament.

Coverage of Other Teams

Defending champions Argentina will have their group matches against Austria and Jordan shown live on the BBC. Additionally, the BBC will broadcast two group matches each for 2022 finalists France, five-time champions Brazil, the Netherlands, and Portugal.

2026 World Cup Hosting and Schedule

The 2026 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time the tournament will be staged by three different nations. The opening match will take place on 11 June 2026 in Mexico City, with the final scheduled for 19 July in New Jersey.
