Hearts Face Season-Ending Absences for McEntee and Magnusson
Hearts manager Derek McInnes has confirmed that midfielders Oisin McEntee and Tomas Magnusson will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries.
Both players have been significant contributors this term, with McEntee, 25, and Magnusson, 23, combining for 61 appearances. McEntee has scored five goals, while Magnusson has found the net three times.
McEntee sustained a hamstring injury during the recent victory over Motherwell, which has ruled him out for the rest of the campaign. Meanwhile, Magnusson is sidelined with a thigh problem that also ends his season prematurely.
"Unfortunately, Oisin got bad news on the scan and is out for the season, which was a real blow for us," McInnes said.
"We had a few days to deal with that and let that sink in. All of a sudden, that's on top of Tomas Magnusson being out."
