England supporters across the South East have been jubilant following the country's thrilling 3-2 win against Mexico in the World Cup round of 16.

The match began at 02:00 BST on Monday, and fans expressed their excitement and pride after the victory.

"The World Cup is coming home! If I wasn't on crutches I'd be dancing down the street!" said Mick Allen from Dartford in Kent.

Connor Burns, who watched the game in Brighton, shared his commitment despite an early work shift.

"I've got work in four hours, but it's alright, we'll do anything for our country."

Graham Munro, also viewing the match in Brighton, praised the team's defensive efforts, especially under challenging circumstances.

"The defending was so heroic, especially when we went down to 10 men."

Munro added,

"It was so tense and stressful."

Rosie Hunt, who watched the game alongside Burns, described the emotional rollercoaster of the match.

"I felt like I was on a rollercoaster, it was awful!"

Ben Martin, Jarvis Stockford, and Jack Martin gathered in Dartford to watch the match together. Ben Martin commented on the team's performance.

"What a performance from England again, getting through to the final 8 of the competition, chef's kiss!"

Chris Michaelas, proprietor of Dartford Sports Bar, reflected on the excitement of the game.

"Everything that you want for this time of the morning we've just witnessed," he said.

He continued,

"We've had goals, we've had penalties, we've had red cards, we've had drama, we've had suspense."

Michaelas praised England's effort, stating,

"England gave the fans everything we wanted. High energy, loads of goals, bring us all into Saturday now."

He urged national support, saying,

"Everyone in the country has got to get behind England."

The Three Lions are set to face Norway in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
