Player Departures and Retentions at Hearts
Hearts have officially announced the departures of Beni Baningime and Frankie Kent, while confirming that Cammy Devlin and Craig Gordon are not among the out-of-contract players leaving Tynecastle.
Additionally, Lewis Neilson and Alan Forrest will also be departing the Scottish Premiership runners-up.
On Tuesday, captain Lawrence Shankland completed his transfer to Rangers. Meanwhile, Hearts have already secured the signings of forward Josh McPake and midfielder Tom Renaud for the upcoming season.
Current Player Involvements
Defensive midfielder Cammy Devlin is presently participating in Australia's World Cup training camp in Florida. Veteran goalkeeper Craig Gordon has joined the Scotland squad for the tournament in the Americas, despite having made only three appearances for Hearts this season.
Player Career Details
Beni Baningime, aged 27, joined Hearts from Everton in 2021. The midfielder has made 127 appearances for the club and started 20 league matches in the current term.
Central defender Frankie Kent, aged 30, has featured in 95 games and scored four goals since his arrival from Colchester United in 2023.
Former Livingston winger Alan Forrest, 29, also joined Hearts in 2023, scoring 14 goals across 147 appearances.
Defender Lewis Neilson, 23, spent the current season on loan at Falkirk. He has also had loan spells at St Johnstone and Partick Thistle following his transfer from Dundee United in 2022.
