Ul Hassan Extends Glamorgan Stay
All-rounder Zain Ul Hassan, who joined Glamorgan in 2023, has signed a contract extension with the club that will keep him at Glamorgan until the conclusion of the 2027 season.
Born in Pakistan, the 25-year-old Ul Hassan grew up in the West Midlands. Prior to joining Glamorgan, he made a single appearance for Worcestershire and spent time with the South Asian Cricket Academy.
Ul Hassan secured a contract with Glamorgan in 2023 and was a key player in the 2025 season, participating in all 14 County Championship matches as Glamorgan earned promotion.
As an opening batter and seam bowler, Ul Hassan achieved his career-best score of 143 runs against Hampshire at Southampton in May.
"I'm very grateful to extend my contract," Ul Hassan told the club website.
"I've loved my time in Cardiff and being part of such a great group of players and coaches. We're playing some really good cricket across all formats, and I'm proud to be contributing to that.
"Hopefully I can play my part in even more success for Glamorgan."
