Artemis II Crew Describe Far Side of Moon
The crew aboard NASA's Artemis II spacecraft have reported their first views of the Moon's far side.
NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, have entered the third day of their mission, which will take them around the far side of the Moon and back to Earth.
"Something about you senses that is not the Moon that I'm used to seeing," Koch said.
As of 23:00 BST on Saturday, NASA's online dashboard indicated the Artemis II spacecraft was over 180,000 miles (289,681 km) from Earth.
