Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in County Fermanagh

A woman has died following a two-vehicle collision in County Fermanagh.

Police received a report at approximately 21:55 GMT on Tuesday regarding a collision involving a Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Amarok on the Marble Arch Road in Enniskillen.

Authorities confirmed that Niamh Kavanagh, aged 34, died at the scene of the crash.

The Marble Arch Road was temporarily closed between the New Line Road and the Bog Road but has since reopened.

Community Reactions

Diana Armstrong, UUP MLA for the area, expressed her condolences, stating she was deeply saddened by the news and extended her thoughts to the family and loved ones affected.

"It has been a distressing period on our roads in recent weeks," she said.

Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan also shared her sorrow over the incident.

"My immediate thoughts are with the family and friends of this woman who tragically lost her life on St. Patrick's Day. A day meant to be one of celebration is now one of tragedy for them," she said.
"This is another life lost on our roads and another family devastated."
