Woman dies after disturbance in Edinburgh, man arrested

A 44-year-old woman, named by police as Vikki Soloman, died after a disturbance at a house in Edinburgh’s East Craigs area on Monday evening. A 46-year-old man was arrested.

A 44-year-old woman has died following a disturbance at a house in the East Craigs area of Edinburgh. Emergency services were called to the property in Craigievar Square at about 20:45 on Monday, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with serious injuries.

Police Scotland said the woman has been named as Vikki Soloman. A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and inquiries are ongoing.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Vikki's family, who have requested privacy at this difficult time.
