Wedding photographer Scott Johnson said he was still in shock after surviving a huge explosion at Highlands Farm near Rettendon, Essex, where a fire tore through an industrial estate on Friday. He said the blast threw him against his studio door and left him with tinnitus and a badly affected ear, but otherwise he was largely unscathed.

The fire service declared a major incident as more than 100 firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control, while 20 firefighters were taken to hospital and have since been discharged.
