Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of two teenage boys following a collision in Newport on 7 May.

Jaydon Bowyer, 19, and Tashay Canoville, 16, were riding a motorcycle when they collided with a BMW on Aberdare Road in the Alway area.

Court Appearance Details

During a brief hearing at Newport Magistrates' Court, Terrell Case, 18, and Joshua Williams, 34, confirmed only their names and dates of birth.

Both men were informed they face two counts of murder and remain in custody.

They are due to appear before Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday.

Relatives of both young men attended the court hearing.

Police Statement on Other Arrests

Gwent Police confirmed that two women, aged 24 and 40 from Newport, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released.
