Two Men Charged Over Filming Antisemitic TikToks in London

Two men from west London have been charged with religiously aggravated harassment after allegedly filming antisemitic TikTok videos in Stamford Hill, a predominantly Jewish area. They await court appearances while others involved have been released on bail.

Charges Filed in Antisemitic TikTok Incident in London

Two men have been charged with religiously aggravated harassment offences following allegations that they filmed antisemitic TikTok videos in London.

Adam Bedoui, 20, and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, 21, both residents of Hillingdon, west London, are accused of traveling to Stamford Hill, a predominantly Jewish area in north London, on Thursday night.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) stated that the charges pertain to allegations that Jewish individuals in the area were approached, harassed, and filmed for social media purposes.

The Metropolitan Police reported that five men were arrested in connection with the incident. Of those, Bedoui and Bousloub have been charged and remanded in custody ahead of their scheduled appearance at Thames Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Additionally, two 20-year-old men and a 21-year-old man have been released on bail following the alleged events.

Statements from Authorities

Huw Rogers, chief crown prosecutor for CPS Direct, commented on the case:

"Our team of out-of-hours prosecutors from CPS Direct worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring charges and it is in the public interest to pursue criminal proceedings.
We have worked closely with the Metropolitan Police as it has carried out its investigation."

Bedoui and Bousloub face charges of religiously aggravated intentional harassment under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, as well as intentional harassment under the Public Order Act 1986.
