Building Collapse in Oldham Injures Three
Three individuals sustained injuries following the partial collapse of a building surrounded by scaffolding on King Street in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The incident occurred earlier today, with emergency services responding promptly.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 12:40 GMT to the terraced building after the front section partially gave way. At the time, five people were inside the structure and all managed to escape the collapse, according to the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS).
Police have issued warnings advising the public to avoid the area, as roads have been closed and a significant presence of emergency service vehicles remains at the scene.
